This is a really nice shot. I really like the bumpy detail around the eye. Would be nice if there had been a little bounce fill from below to get some light on the lower part of the abdomen.

Perfect sync with the assignment. What the heck is this? I can't tell on first OR second glance. Love the texture and balance of form, focus and background "blur". This rates a new photographic rule: The rule of four fifths. And it works flawlessly. I'm really waiting patiently for the details on this shot.

This is great. Perfect sync with the assignment of not easily identified at first glance. Balance in both form and focus is excellent IMHO. For some stupid reason the little, tiny, miniscule, black "handle" on the upper right-hand stem (under the upper-most "wing") is just a wee bit troublesome. Still rates a "9" in my book. Nice!
