From a technical standpoint, I don't see much to complain about. From an artistic standpoint, I don't find anything interesting about the photo.

Honestly, I would have rated this photo higher without the goose in the background. The forground goose is dead-on sharp focust and nice color. Background is also quite a nice contrast.

I would have liked this on a brighter, whiter background. The greys kind of blend together at the top.

Nice photo. I think I would have liked a bit more space on the sides and top. The tip of a flame is as important as the base of the flame but not seen at all in this photo. Lighting is ok, maybe a little highlighting on the formost logs would be good.

I don't know if I would have cropped image this way. I might have been tempted to align the top of the print with the upper chrome. Lighting is good, picture just doesn't hold that much interest for me.

Old time microphone / old time grain effect? As I look at this photo, I start to see the chrome coming out. I think it is well done, but wonder if a sharper focus would have helped even more.
