beautiful attempt, but your focal point is a little south. also try using a wider apeture setting to drown out the stems.

no offense, but the image should tell the story - not the title. the lighting is a little off and there is too much noise around your fall color.

As an avid photographer of flowers, I think you selected a good subject. However you focus is a little off and composition could use some adjusting (i.e. crop the image so that the flower with the crown is centered and omit the background noise.)
