OK- I honestly would not eat that if it was put infront of me :) but I don't try new things and that's oK it works for me *LOL* (and I don't like fish but I don't score down for what I like or dislike) ;) the composition is lovely, the play of circles is great! :) I like how you have the composition in a pan which looks like a plate at first glance! :) I enjoy the off-set of the image and slight slant you created...there are some wonderful shapes and creative things going on- and I can see this easily being part of a magazine shot with a recipe; so...drumm roll pleaseee..... (10) :) *see some of us can look past our personal dislikes or aversions ;) :-D goodluck!! :)

Healthy-for certian, I can see this in a magazine in my mind beside a recipe; I gave it a high score even tho I dislike fish (and don't find fish-heads in my food very yummy) :) :-D its an artistic shot-which is what the challenge is all about! :) I like your play on shadows, and the darkness/light with the rice in the background... I like the grain in the background of the wood-and wonder if playing wtih the levels some more might have made this image pop more? (just becase its not something I'd -eat- doesn't mean its not a cool shot/idea!) :) the reflection inside the bowl does pull my eye out of the image but the circle keeps it focused on the main subject... -nicely captured! :) *look forward to seeing if you post a recipe since other family members of mine love fish!* :)
