Innocenceby nico_blueComment: I like the photo but I've still got 'white on white' fatigue. |

"Building Blocks"by tfarrell23Comment: Being a little dyslexic, I get the connection and find it amusing though not terribly surprising since I nearly did the same thing myself. It's a nice composition. I like the colors, the whimsy, the good depth of field, and the negative space. But isn't there a rule at this site that no stuffed animal photo may score more than 3? What the heck. I break rules all the time... |

The Way They used to be Madeby tellyComment: In the beginning, beer was made in animal skins or wooden caskets and served in bits of pottery. Be that as it may, I like the color palette and I like the idea, but the photo is very static. |

Ariseby MAKComment: I like the sky, clouds and water. I find Adam and Eve wierdly distracting. |

Handsby gotrondComment: I find the contrast a little low for my taste. And The focus is on the older hand instead of the younger one. |

TIME on MY HANDSby joansuzyComment: Don't get the connection to the challenge - though if it were titled 'Beginning of the Afternoon" I would. |

The Last Path You Will Ever Be Onby loveComment: I love the crooked gate and the little angel. I love the way the road leads us into the photo, even though there's nothing at the end of it. The editing effects call attention to themselves, but they do make the photo. |

Monuments: To the Quick and the Deadby Dr.ConfuserComment: I like the idea of this photo. I also like that it's framed by trees. It looks to me like too much of the photo is in the center third of the frame, Not sure how to fix this. One idea would be to take a much higher angle. But then I was also going to comment that I think the river makes a kind of dead space in the middle of the photo - a problem which would be solved by moving the camera down. I wonder if there's a spot where the skyscrapers are bracketed by the monuments? Finally, I'm not convinced that color adds much to the photo. I hope you find some of this ramble helpful. |
