Only a small portion of abstracts at this site go out on a limb, but this one does. And it's a gem.

Very retro. I really like the post production treatment of it in your print Flight 2 giving it: a grainy and slightly out of focus quality, a golden glow, and a sort of undefinable edge. It's an instant classic.

I am in awe at this photo. It skates so close to the edge. It could easily have been a facile knockoff of a bad photo-album shot from the early fifties - notwithstanding the impactful placement of the camera, the subjects and two sheets. But it is animated by the three people who enjoy each other's good company. Wow.

Wow! That's a great shot. I love how the road winds its way through it, disappearing and reappearing in a different place. The young person is perfect. Perfect placement, perfect 'costume' perfect exposure. As a newbie, I have to ask whether you used any special technique to keep the subject's back from being underexposed - flash, dodging, etc. Thanks.

This just does not look like a 'seventies guy.' Really, to evoke the seventies, facial hair on men is a must. Sideburns or a beard or an unstylish moustache are a minimum. I'm afraid I can't stand the colorful effects, no matter how much (or little) effort it might have taken to produce them.

I'm afraid I suffer from a handicap in scoring this - never have seen a slasher movie. Although it needs to be dark and shadowy for effect, I found this to be too hard to see.

I have to assume the oversaturation is purposeful. But not being able to see the rest of the grooves in the record is a problem, especially since this negative space is a wierd and ugly greenish color.

It seems out of focus to me. And the color palette seems to wierd, even by seventies standards. I find the lighting harsh and strangely colored .Also not purposefully trippy. The wilted rose stem detracts much.
