Ragged IIIby TychoComment: Good contrast between the harsh rock and the soft sand. The light house makes this shot very interesting. The darkening of the sky works well. |

Fortress around your Mind by arnitComment: Thanks for all of those great comments. And the bad ones as well :)
Regarding the composition I wanted to to something differend. Some of you didn't like how she was looking out of the picture. But I liked it and thought it looked all right.
Regarding the up the nose shot. People have noses and after looking through several Vouge's and other magazines in more than half the pictures you could see up the nose of the model. I don't like it when you can see nosehairs but seeing a nose and black hole isn't that bad I think.
Here are some links to picture of famous women taken by famous photographers when you can see a litle up the nose:
Marilyn Monroe
Madonna on a Vogue Cover
Up the nose shot of Dali by Philippe Halsman
I agree about taking the ring out of her ear.
Some people said the tacks were facing the wrong way. But if you read the title "Fortress around your Mind" the tacks are supposed to face out to protect the mind. That was the plan.
Thanks again for all of those great comments. Glad so many of you liked it and saw what I was trying to show you :) |

Abandondedby theSajComment: Like how you placed a person in the picture. I found most of the pictures uninteresting because they didn't have people in it. Good job. |

~by nfesselComment: You should find a name for you pictures. It is not that hard. And you probably would have done better if the picture was in focus. |

Frame of Mind by babylonComment: One of the best in this challange. Composition is just spot on. People are probably commenting on the light on the house. Taking it away makes the picture worse. So keeping it was a good idea. Good luck. If not top 3... without a doubt top 10. What a beautiful model you got there ;) |
