People on dpc can be harsh! :) If the silhouette isn't kids jumping in front of the sunset it isn't silhouette. We need more open minded people here in dpc. I really like the high contrast. Just love it! The close crop works well. Keep them coming and good luck in future challenges.

Hi Monica,
First of all. I just love the film Amelie! The first thing I see is that the picture is just 564px instead of the full 640px. Larger size makes a better picture. People here on dpc ar pretty harsh and are not happy if the size isn't the full size. I really like the black top/bottom frame. I get the feeling it is just taken just out of the film. I like the lighting in it. Good luck in future challenges.

I'm saying pain! :) I like the tone of this picture. I like the vertical lines. They are leading my eyes up and down and always finding something new to watch. I didn't see the face in the bottom left corner. Maby if it was a bit lighter people would notice it more? Good luck in future challenges.

I think this picture is highly underrated! I think it should have placed much higher in this challenge. The contrast and composition is just perfect! The DOF is just spot on and the white line going from his lip and down the frame makes this picture what it is. The only thing I would change is to take the couple of white hairs at the top left of the picture. Good luck in future challenges. You've got lots of potential.

Fyrsta skipti í langan tíma sem ég kíki hérna í Krítíkklúbbinn og fæ íslenska mynd. Ekki slæmt að byrja að geta tjáð sig á íslensku :)

Kemur mjög vel út að nota silhouettuna til að ramma inn viðfangsefnið. Maður fær á tilfinninguna að strákurinn/maðurinn sé að klást við alkahólisma eða eitthvað svoleiðis og að hann sé svona lokaður af hjálpar. Vonandi skilst þetta :) Það er ekki mikið sem mér finnst mætti betur fara. Lýsingin er pottþétt og myndbyggingin fín. Eina sem mér finnst að mætti betur fara er ef þú hefðir tekið myndina aðeins ofar og þá verið með línurnar hægra megin og vinstra megin við hann alveg beinar en ekki smá á ská. En svo gæti bara vel verið að þú hafir þurft að taka hana svona smá neðan frá til að fá hreinan himinn en ekki jörð með. Gaman að sjá mynd sem segir einhverja sögu. Ekki bara eitthvað að splasha í vatn :) Fínt mynd í alla staði. Gangi þér vel í næstu keppnum.
