 I shot this film canister cap using my light table. It is interesting how in silhouette, the lettering on the cap which is white on white becomes clearly visible.

Adjustments that I made to this image are:

1. Crop to square format
2. Level, Saturation and Hue adjustment using adjustment layer to bring the image to monochrome.

Hey Kevin,
People on dpc can be harsh! :) If the silhouette isn't kids jumping in front of the sunset it isn't silhouette. We need more open minded people here in dpc. I really like the high contrast. Just love it! The close crop works well. Keep them coming and good luck in future challenges.

FWIW Hopefully now that everyone is able to read my comments, you can see it is a silhouette after all. I feel I have been accused of cheating and it hurts but at least I get to have my say now.

Not really sure what part, if any, is silhouetted. I like this image from an art point of view, but I don't think it fits this challenge.

Not sure how this is a silhouette, or what the subject of the image is. Focus appears sharpest on the lettering, but I don't really understand what you're trying to present to the viewer.

Since many peoples are complaining about not knowing why they have a low score I decided to comment on every pictures that I scored below 5.

I gave this picture a 4 mainly because it doesn't meet the challenge, it's not a silhouette
