Stairwellby jimmyn4Comment: you seem to have gotten the angle that produces the most lines possible within your rectangle. good job. did you use a flash? the lighting's a little harsh in the lower right maybe. |

Lukeby connieComment: this is beautiful and cool, can almost smell this canine.
borders don't really do anything for me, but everybody else is using them,
so after this week you won't hear any more moaning about it. go for what you know. |

Columbiaby tfarrell23Comment: one time i read a comment about a flag photo somebody else had written. commenter said it was a cheap shot, too easy, so ubiquitous a symbol that it loses its meaning.
i think he was wrong. i like your perspective.
some folks are real sensitive about seeing unorthodox star-spangled banners. they're entitled to their beliefs, which i think you should ignore. in my humble opinion, jimi hendrix was the best thing that ever happened to the national anthem. i dig your flag.
this country's flag has artistic license built-in. |

It's Just A Gameby ShiiizzzamComment: great textures, man texture is at least two-thirds of what it\'s all about. pores on the gloves. only drawback is if you\'re nutty for animals that might be kinda gross. i mean the glove looks like flesh, it's kinda spooky.

Steps in the right directionby JeanComment: really really nice abstract. great grain of worn paint. you own at least one good eye, and i bet the other one's not too shabby either. could see this in a gallery easy.

1 Mile from Bostonby av8orboyComment: real nice time of day to be up there, sunlight on the buildings, casting each others' shadows on each other, really make the shot. bonus points for not tackng on a superfluous border. ideal entry for this challenge, big fat ten for you. |

Vesselby falveyComment: spooky, moody, makes me think of the 1960s star trek episodes.. the only thing is the white spot.

Abandoned Siloby LindaLeeComment: love old eroding things, always great textures, real compelling to witness an object that shows the passage of time.
picked just the right amount of light to let in, got the grain of the inside, didn't blow out the lighter parts of the image.
fits the challenge to a tee. nice job. |
