Don't worry about the so called animal lovers. You did what it took to get a great image and a big congrats to you. I want to see them complain about the chickens being killed everyday for food. Why does no one complain about that. Either way a good steak is great and cows have to be killed for that.

Anyway not to stray to far congrats on a great image and a well deserved blue.

Kinda looks like lava. I would straighten the horizon and clone out those small white specs in the sky but inverted this image is great. I like it and would probably given you a 6 as is. Straighten the horizon and get rid of the sensor dust and I would vote a 7.

New Energy

Nice shot. I like the angle on it. I would maybe clone out the one bird but other than that I love it. THe blues are very nice. Nothing blown out.

Purple Shell

You only got 2 comments during the challenge so I figured I would offer something on this one. I also think it would benefit if you were to change the DOF to the front of ther shell. Also maybe a little Neat Image to get rid of the noise in the purple. Have you tried making this B&W? I think it would look great B&W or one with a blue tone to it.

Pretty good is an understatment. I really like this shot. Night shots are hard to capture and you have done a great job doing it. The blue in the sky is perfect IMO.
