very neat shot but your black ground is wrinkled and that completely distracts me.

Hello from the Critique Club!!!

Composition:

This is a well composed shot. I like the angle of the photo. It makes a strong statement and it makes you stop and look closer at the picture. This is a very interesting building with great architectural details and the lighting helped to enhance these features. You have met the challenge well.

Background/ Foreground

The sky is very foreboding and it adds to the mysterious feel of the shot.

Camera Work:

Focus is great. Lighting works and adds to the shot. The white specks are distracting and I like a few others tried to clean my monitor before realizing it was in the picture.

Post-Processing:

I can not comment on your post-processing because you did not include it in the comment field. Including this information helps us see what you have done, and can help teach other users how to use post processing to improve their pictures.

My Opinion:

I like the shot even more every time I look at it. I see something new each time. I would have expected that you should have scored higher but the comments you received should make up for the score.
It would have been nice for you to have made more comments than blah blah blah. A lot is members look here for information about how you feel about your work and what you did to make this picture special.
You have a natural eye so keep shooting and sharing your work with us.

I hope you find these comments to be helpful, thank you for allowing me to critique your picture. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact me via PM.

Hello from the Critique Club!!!

Composition:

This is a very nicely composed shot and it is great to see that you keep trying to get the shot right for you.
Not all of us can see the beauty inside a computer but you have achieved it with this photo. I like the angle and the lighting. The view of the fan and crisp lime green adds to the overall appeal. I think this a perfect shot for Stock photography. Met the challenge âOutside Looking Inâ well

Background/ Foreground
The shallow DOF has the background blurred which is good since there is so much going on in the foreground.

Camera Work:

The focus is good and the colors are bright and crisp. The lighting is a okay but the white on the power is a bit over exposed. This takes away the some of the detail.

Post-Processing:
I think you got it all right in your editing.

My Opinion:
This is a nice shot, you took the time to go back and try it again from a different perspective and this time you achieved your goals. Each of us learns from each shot we take and the comment made from fellow DPC members. Good Job!

I hope you find these comments to be helpful, thank you for allowing me to critique your picture. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact me via PM.

Best of luck in your future photographic endeavors,

Hello from the Critique Club!!!

Composition:
This is a well composed shot. I like the angle. Makes you want to step inside and get a better look around and feel the (is that leather) seats. I am not sure the dice on the rearview mirror helps the picture. They are rather large and distracting. It takes away from the elegance of this picture. I like the lunch box on the seat. It adds a ârealâ touch to the picture. Although It would have been better (IMO) to have a plain old lunchbox with the same shape, maybe even a bit knocked around to add to the authentic look and feel. This has met the challenge well.

Background/ Foreground

The black in the windows works so it does not distract from the interior. The door jam in the front is distracting. I think cropping it out would not have changed the feel of picture at all.

Camera Work:

The picture is slightly out of focus. The handles on the door are a touch blurred as are the dials on the dashboard. I assume you used a tripod, sometimes when you do a long exposure when you take the picture it will cause the camera to move just a touch, enough to cause it to become slightly OOF. Using a delay timer or a remote would fix that problem.
It would appear that the focus was set for the seats as well; maybe if the angle was a touch to the left it would have also focused the dash and steering wheel. The lighting underneath the dash exposed some of the wiring, and added some slightly distracting shadows. You might try cloning that out or trying the shot again without the light on the bottom.

Post-Processing:
I think cropping out the light on the headliner and the door jam on the front left would have helped this shot.
I love the slight monotone and warmth of the picture it gives it a casual elegance, which is very appealing.

My Opinion:
Overall this picture is nice and with a few minor adjustments has the potential to be a fantastic shot.

I hope you find these comments to be helpful, thank you for allowing me to critique your picture. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact me via PM.
