Heh heh, they've all got such serious expressions! Wouldn't want to cross these girls in a dark alley ;-)

This is really interesting editing. The blues are really nice, but my favorite part is the water. The processing there made for a really great backdrop for the fish, who looks so still. He's got an almost human face!

Very, very nice, Judy! Hope he's okay in there. Beautiful composition above all, but I also love the processing with those duotones.

I really like the understated tones. Not familiar with the flower at all ... it's beautiful.

I like this one best of the series. It has the least neat-imaged appearance and the lighting is really nice on the model here. Also the backdrop isn't as noticable as in the challenge entry. Nice pose, too. Good job! I can imagine it was tough to choose which shot to use for the challenge.

I like the colors here. I think this is one of those pictures that needs to be looked at for a while to be appreciated, though (which I did and I do appreciate it).

Ah, what a very sad image. It's impossible to imagine what it must feel like to lose a home this way. You've done a good job of portraying it in such a way that I can in any case come closer to imagining the horror and sadness of such a catastrophe. I'm so glad you didn't clone out the telephone wires. The stairs, sitting there without a house could have a poem written about them.

This meets the challenge beautifully. I love the angle of the shipwreck bow (?) in the foreground and the fact that there's just enough horizon and sky to add to the feeling of that beach going on forever and ever.

I can't decide if I like the grunge or not... but it's certainly noticable, which is why I'm mentioning it :-) The black shadow is a little distracting for me, but I think it's a great pose and camera angle. The bars might even give a feeling of imprisonment if the tops of the railing were not in the scene.

Clever! I like the grouping of three lights, the face, the moon, and the streetlight. The glow on the model's body is pretty cool.
