One is going 700mph, the other is notby d95vetteComment: What a shot! There's something weird with the sky to the left of the jet ... looks like you may have tried to clone something out, but it kind of got messed up. I REALLY like the detail you got in the white part of the jet exhaust. The contrast between still and rocket fast makes this interesting. |

Station(ary) Wagonby snafflesComment: Hmmm, there's a little too much to look at in this image for me, plus the gothic glow is a little strong, particularly on the left. The cloth is pretty and the color of the sky is gorgeous. I feel like a lot is missing by being cropped sort of here and there, rather than showing, for example, the whole left hand side, the whole wheel, etc. |

They Will Use Me Again.. Won't they?by xXxscarletxXxComment: The processing of this image is cool. The only thing that distracts me are the mistakes around the edges. I'm not trying to be mean I promise! I have the same issues a lot of times. I just wanted to let you know in case you find it helpful to know. The image quality is perfect with respect to sharpness. I like the colors you've chosen, too. |

Checkered Pastby banmornComment: Cool! I like the abstractness of the checkers in the mirror. This would make a great poster - also, I bet the shop who had this display would love this!! |

sailing 4by missinseattleComment: Very pretty soft processing. It gives a romantic and nostalgic feeling. It might make a big difference (and maybe not :-) to clone out the post on left. That way, the ship and the pier sort of balance each other in a different way. I'd also like to see a little of the water cropped out to allow the ship and all that sky to be a little more predominant.Cropping a tiny bit of the water would also help the line of horizon to not be so near the center line. What a beautiful ship! |

whaaat? (Stationary by the flash)by gpalosComment: Composition is really nice! I thnk the highlights and loss of contrast in the shadows hurts quite a bit, though. Might be a bit too dark for many monitors as well. It's a cute face framed by that wood. I don't mark down for titles at all, but would like to mention that it's not recommended to describe your technicals in a title. |

Ahh! retirement in JAMAICAby dmaddenComment: This is a little too dead center for it to be very interesting to me. I don't really understand the title either, but I try not to let titles affect me scoring in any negative way. I think this is an interesting subject, even if the presentation doesn't do a lot for me ... a detail crop to emphasize the hull or just the cabin would be awesome! Nice colors in the sand and sky. |

Stationary... since Cretaceous...by gipomontesantoComment: Good colors. The thing with this image is that my eye keeps going to the only really sharp and bright part just left of center. And then it's hard for me to figure out what it is since there's not much detail in that part. Your title helps me understand that these are fossils. I think the dof is good but possible not on the right area within the image. The fossil to the left looks really interesting thanks to its spiral form. |
