Hey, I think I've been there! Is it John Day painted hills, or something like that? It is a gorgeous place, even if I'm wrong about the location. The hills are really nicely captured, but I wish the sky had not blown out (you might be wishing the same thing :-).

Wow, and whoa - this is so nice with the grain and the reflection in his sunglasses. It's too bad his pinky finger is so tightly cropped, but in every other way I think the tight tight crip works perfectly - very good!!

Wow, that buck has an almost human face. Really interesting; plus, he's got a rope or something hanging from his horn? Hope he's okay. The color of the green and the detail in it are superb. I like how the depth of focus is in the middle range around the deer and along the entire horizontal at that level. Not sure, but it might have even got a better reaction from me if the empty space were to the right of the deer or if it could've been a little looser crop on that side.

This is a wonderful image, but for my taste, it's robbed of its quality by postprocessing, particularly shadow/highlight and saturation. This guy has an awesome face - love his eyes and beard.
