Yanko Wannabeby SandyPComment: I really like this one, Sandy. The lighting is perfect in a situation that looks like it must have been tough. The person peering over the railing tops off a wonderful image. Great coloring, too - love those subtle tones! |

Woman with dogby PeshiksComment: Zeuszen's comment below makes sense to me from the technical point of view, but the composition is sooooo perfect that I have to add this to my favorites now. Just think, it's over two years since you took this picture and I have just now discovered it thanks to the "Favorite all time dpc photo" thread in the forums. Xion posted your shot. And I'm happy he did. |

The White Sandalby JutildaComment: Nice, Judy. You look like a scuplture in the sense of just your form and not details are outlined, and then you have that beautiful skin and light outlining it and part of your skirt to boot. Such a thoughtful image, gives the viewer a little mystery, and questions about whether the woman has just heard some terrible news. |

The Essence of Innocenceby SandyPComment: Congratulations on yet another great challenge entry, Sandy! I love the toning. It's so subtle and sweet, and matches the mood of the composition really well. Thanks for explaining how you did it! Now I have something new to try. You always write the best photog's comments, Sandi. You're a big help to many of us. |

Awesome job! |
Thanks for the great comment, Sandy! He's actually a guy from work. I think you do a much better job with these. Now that I'm looking at this again, I see that his lips and eyes are overdone. Now I want to go back in and play around with this image some more. Hope I don't scare the poor guy! |

Nightfallby JutildaComment: What a lousy score for an image that glows so beautifully! Thanks to the lighting, the bloom has taken on an almost sugary look, like what you might find on a wedding cake. I like Sandy's comment about the natural purple. The frame's great, the image is subtle and lovely - not too dark at all. Frustrating that you didn't get more comments. |
