It's a bird, it's a plane, it's...by TammerComment: I missed this during the voting, but need to leave a comment now that I've stumbled upon it. In my opinion, this quite a witty shot, especially with the title! I disagree with the commenters below who suggest it would be better without the bird. I laughed out loud when I looked at this - too cute! For the technical aspects, I think I agree with Mitonski's comments below - might be worth a try at least, if you get a chance to re-do it. Sea Mistby jjbeguinComment: This photo is so beautiful I could get lost in it. The only thing that I wonder about though are the four large circles in the sky around the bird. Is is sensor dust, me, or some strange cloud formation? The gull coming out of that fog, passing the dream-like tree on the left, is the icing on the cake. |

Humorous Birthdayby JutildaComment: This is fantastic, Judy! I like your son's ideas as well - very surprised that you didn't get a much higher score here. Great job! |

Catch the Moonby JutildaComment: I think this was a very good entry, Judy. I didn't vote this time around, but wish I had (it would've been a much higher vote than your average score here). I like the composition and the simplicity very much. The tree looks like it's just waiting there for the sake of catching that moon. Nice. |

Catch the Moonby JutildaComment: oops, I said basically the same thing twice. Must've been when the site was misbehaving :-) Message edited by author 2005-10-04 00:52:35. |

Feeling The Jazzby frumoazniculComment: Congrats on the top 50. I am very surprised (and disappointed) that this didn't make the top 10! This was one of the best in the challenge. Nice work! I gave this a 9, but didn't get a comment in earlier. The smoothness of the tones and the emotion in the artist are outstanding. |

Cujo juniorby gthbComment: The poor dog looks too dark for me to make him out clearly, since the white sky is sooo bright. It looks like a sharp, clear shot of him too, so it's too bad about the sky. He (or she) is an adorable pup! |
