Lone coyote on the ridgeby CharlieRComment: Good use of negative space to accent the loneliness. Unfortunate placement of coyote respective to the bush. Focus is a bit soft, or JPEG artifacts soften edges. |

Silenceby jkiolbasaComment: While outstanding from a technical POV, I would have loved to see traces of the mike stand in this photo. Still, it is at least a 7, and therefore gets rounded to an 8. - mjcecil |

Fire waterby RobCoeComment: Very nice. Excellent motion stop. Good flash suppression on the glass. |

Sunsetby GussiComment: Up: Excellent color. Good subject. Down: Barely-exposed church details beg for either more light for detail, or less exposure to make it a total silhouette. Also, could benefit from sharp focus on the church, and stopped down lens to get big DOF... As-is, the church shows very soft focus. |

Shaftby millerComment: Cool artistic impression. As in many of this weeks photo's the negative space is merely supposed to support the subject, rather than BE the subject. Still, it is probably 8-worthy. |

blueby ramoneComment: Outstanding color! The Ferris wheel is an unfortunate intruder into the frame. But, when you shoot situations as they occur, we take what we get, right? Technically, a wonderful shot. 9 overall - mjcecil |
