Directionby GiorgioComment: An interesting image with nice details and an interesting composition. Seems rather oversharpened - strong halos particularly evident along edges of walking man's coat. |

Rainbow walkwayby PaulEComment: Wow, great colours and those arches really make a fantastic compositional image. Like the position of the woman entering an arch at the left and the details of the shop sign and fire hydrant break up the repetition. |

Payphone - Cell phoneby jblaylockraynerComment: Interesting detail, well observed. And on top of the interesting locality and people, some really interesting text, textures, shapes here on a visual level too. |

The Odd Coupleby h2Comment: Love the way their postures mirror each other just a little with their hands up to their mouths. Lots to look at, very interesting and good composition too. Like the high contrast black and white with nice toning applied. Seems a touch oversharpened to me. |

Coffeehouse Study Sessionby esdarbyComment: Outside looking in. Nice composition and I like the extra details outside - the and tables, the fire hydrant and the lines on the road. The inside is intriguing too - great effects from the ceiling lights and just shadowy details of most of the people bar the man on th right who seems to be in his own spotlight. Lots to look at here, very interesting. |

Travelby xianartComment: I'm a travel addict so this one caught my eye straight away... I've spent many many many an hour reading through travel guides in libraries, shops and at home. The guides alone are an expensive hobby let alone the actual trips! Like the way the spotlight falls on the book. |

"Greetings, m'lady"by jimnessComment: Those metal "statues" have become so ubiquitous in Covent Garden now haven't they? It's like walking down an avenue of metal sometimes! Nice portrait and really shows the environment. I like the way the foreground statue/ girl with their arms touching framehte two viewers further away. |

Halcyon Days of a Youthful Sojournby CutterComment: Not so keen on the high key - it just seems blown out to me though I can see why it might be chosen deliberately to emphasise the snowy environment and harsh light. I do like the composition very much indeed as well as the perfect blurring of the background - just enough detail remaining to pick out the light globes on their poles. Nice detail in her eyes and certainly makes me question what she's look at and thinking about. |

That's Amoreby JawnyRicoComment: Interesting portrait - love the way the lovers are shown in their environment and are just a small part of it and yet still a focal point. The leading line of lights and the curve of the cinema hall both add compositional strength too. |
