as time goes by...rock & rustby annigComment: Unlike many entries, you seem to have read the description and taken onboard the wabi-sabi thing. I like that your subject is an everyday functional item - the beauty we see in the textures and colours that have come from weathering were not planned for when the object was designed/ created. Composition good too. |

Acornby glad2badadComment: Beautiful colours and textures, composition works too, nice contrast and tonal range. Is this a lens baby image? That off-kilter feeling of in-focus and out-of-focus areas reminds me of lens-baby or Holga images. In any case, I like it. |

Felled Bamboo On A Cloudy Dayby Adian00Comment: Grows on me as I look at it longer, though the blown out leaves in the centre bother me. The outer areas of the image, with the high contrast but still some texture and detail in the leaves, are stronger, for me. |
