Tarte aux Pommes Citroneeby pawdrixComment: I love how you've included the ingredients behind. I'm not too sure about the choice of the plate - I think the design detracts from the dish itself - but at least the yellow goes with the tarte filling and the blue with the dish in the backgound. |

I really like your choice of crockery as that allows the focus to be on the food whilst also providing a compositional tool and some nice shapes. I also like the use of both square and round dishes and your off-centred composition. All good really! |

Chocolate Fondantby raphael-sComment: Seems a bit dark and flat in terms of lighting. The meal itself looks nice but the pistachio pieces aren't ideal photographically as they just make it look messy. Also, whose finger is that at the top?! Crop it out!Also not keen on the way the ice-cream blocks the view of the spoon breaking up it's clean lines. |
