The Grapes of Wrathby irenesComment: I happened to see the other similar rendition first so that got all my ho ho ho for this idea. (I'm not voting so you don't get marked down for that). Lighting isn't very good - too much glare on that white cloth and too messy an arrangement but I imagine you were more concerned with the humour anyway? :o) |

"Are you my mother?"by thefragileComment: This isn't weird at all. No really. Let me get you your meds now.
Seems very pixelly but I can't tell whether that's just the weird texture confusing my eyes and brain! (Isn't difficult to confuse them!).
Why did you take a photo of a dead chick? What is that in it's mouth? |

To the Lighthouse by dan_pendletonComment: Great sky colour, nice sweeping feel to the sand. Good composition. Horizon feels tilted, almost curved even? |

"Bell, Book and Candle"by SMW409Comment: This one is definitely surreal. I can't say I know the book but I'm assuming it refers to a little metal bell than rings rather than a salad ingredient? :o) Made me smile though! |

The Sword in the Stoneby moodvilleComment: Nice lighting and exposure and I do like the background. Just the right amount of foreground rock included too. I'm not sure whether the decision to have the sword off-centre horizontally was deliberate - if so I think it needs to be more off centre than it is. As it is now it just looks as though you'd intended to centre it and hadn't quite achieved that. |

Stranger in a Strange Landby mbardeenComment: Yep, I like this composition a lot, colour is great - Heinlein is always orange to me, maybe that's because of all his ginger haired characters? I like the receding line of trees, the mistiness behind him and the glares of light. Only thing I'd like is for the lower glare to be more orange and less white. |

1984 - George Orwellby TimSComment: Oooh I like this - what a cool use of DOF and the macro really brings out the detail of the design as well as some wonderful colours. |

The Adventures Of Tom Sawyerby OneSweetSinComment: Nicely done. The way he's holding the brush seems a little odd and focus seems soft. Could do with moving the crate a touch to the right - I think it would strengthen composition a touch. |
