Incenseby LindaEComment: Great diagonal composition. Would love to see some smoke too. |

Some bases of Curryby fanfuineComment: Beautiful!
What a lot of black pepper you have!
Nice colours, nice composition, lighting OK, border supportive rather than competing for attention.
I like this very much. |

Fresh Homemade Breadby melkingComment: Mmmm! Nice lighting. Composition doesn't quite work for me but certainly better at an angle than head on. |

garlic breathby jackditchComment: Lighting a little too harsh, but, on right hand side of frame, nice detail in the skins. Good composition, interesting choice of b/w. |

Fuel of the Dayby KINGComment: Less accurate it would be but I think coffee beans insteaf of ground might work better here - certainly it's not immediately obvious that it's coffee and if I saw this outside of this challenge I'd assume it was mud in a terracotta flowerpot.
I like the composition very much, feels very balanced. DOF choice works well as does position of scoop. |

In the Gymby karmatComment: Yah - I get the smell!!! Lighting seems a touch low on background ball, and that tends to make left of frame a little duller. Just doesn't quite feel balanced to me. That said, one of the better entries in the challenge, for me. |

Fragranced by sahkoComment: A beautiful image and great choice of low lighting overall with spots of light to bring out spray, cleavage and edge of face. Cropped absolutely superbly. Wouldn't change a thing. |

A Pure Scentby librodoComment: Beautifully cropped to really highlight the swirling pattern of the petals. Nice composition with the main curve from top to bottom (at the right hand side) formed by the two-three touching petals there. Yellow shadow detail adds depth. Good choie of border though not sure of choice of grey colour for the thicker smudged border element. |

A Pinecone In Autumnby GolferDDSComment: This definitely conveys that slightly musty pine smell that is so evocative of the season. I like the use of shallow DOF to throw out foreground and background, and like choice of getting in close to subjects. |
