Strange viewpoint and rotation makes this very intriquing and does add interest. It doesn't actually make me think of the smell but it is the kind of quirky concept image I can see hanging in a gallery.

A stunning image, though one that just doesn't convey any scent to me whatsoever. Beautiful capture of mist, slightly muted colours and beautifully balanced composition.

Freshly Popped Popcorn

For some reason this doesn't convey the smell to me - I think it's because the colour palette is cold - very white and blue. I think if the popcorn were slightly more yellow or the bowl itself were a warmer colour I'd "see" the warmth that showed me this was freshly popped and be more able to imagine the smell.
I do like the composition and use of black space.
