Inspired by the shape of the number 5by nico_blueComment: Artistic, intriguing, accurate (the angle of the top sweep of the 5 and the curve of the lower bell are just perfect), beautifully executed with very subtle use of light and shadow (particularly the way in which the top of his head disappears into shadow in order to leave the curve intact). A real winner for me. |

Band of Brothers by gaurawaComment: I like the way that the blach match heads are separated from the black background by the drifting white smoke patterns. Not sure about central composition but do like the detail. |

Like the textures and the warm lighting... Not sure three are needed, one position off centre to one side might make for a stronger composition. |

Hauntedby BobsterLobsterComment: Great composition - including so much ceiling really emphasises the height of it as well as the sense of the viewer being insignificant. Lovely detail of bricks, high contrast black and white working well for this. Doesn't convey haunted to me but does make me think of loneliness, emptiness, possibly silence, serenity... |
