Oh my god I thought the Dog was santas beard at first. I had to get my head closer to see what was going on or if it was my eyes. This could have been a top notch image in Black and white with some dodge and burn you would have set the focus element towards the santa. In color there is just too much other things going on behind him and around him. (6)

Ripples

I wish the little mound over the center was'nt there. That would have made the ripples even more appealing. I can actually feel the liquid and the texture. Very well shot. (8)

Deterioration

Seems just a little too flat. Enhancing the colors of the roof and that of the grass would could have added some compostional element. Maybe a different angle of shooting would have created more impact.

The clearity of the hands is just awesome. The really captured the depth of field with this shot. Very wise choice of angle this gives desired effect of maternity. Well done.

The title says it all. Good use of lighting. Might just be too centered. Filling the frame using more of angle would resolved this issue. (7)
