This is a very cool shot. I love the big snowflakes hanging suspended in mid-air. It has a very dream-like quality to it. The color of the snow seems a little on the grey side though.

Interesting composition. The lines of the river seem to be in conflict with the implied lines of the wall and foliage on the left. If there was an interesting subject at their intersection this might work, but as it is, my eye just drifts into the empty corner at the top left.

Vertiginous. The odd angle makes this difficult to look at, but also strangely appealling. I think it helps separate the subject from the background landscape, which, by the way, is not the subject of the composition, so I'm struggling to see how this fits the challenge. Perhaps you should have taken a horizontal crop and entered it in the other challenge.

Nice view. The composition feels a little too static for me, probably because all of the main points of interest are aligned down the middle.

Well, it is a portrait orientation if I turn my head, but that hurts my neck. Could also be a little bigger. It is an interesting composition, though. I like the branch coming across what should be the top of the frame.
