Interesting idea but not very realistic, and that is what I was looking for in this challenge. That was just my criteria. I like the composition of the photo overall, but the right side is a little blown out and too light.

I don't get the connection to alternative medicine at all. That being said, it is a nice image, I like the "costume" and the model NOT looking directly at the camera.l

I get your point about anti-drug, but it is a real stretch to call that alternative medicine. I won't say it doesn't meet the contest, but IMHO it is a reach. About the image - it is kind of small and you lose details so it is hard to give constructive critique. The yellow cast is a little disruptive, but overall it is a good capture.

Overall not a bad photo, just too small to do it justice. Take a look at the excellent tutorial on preparing photos for contests in the learning section here on DPC. That helped me a lot! I can't get to detailed in my critique because I can't see the details in the image... Keep trying and working on your photography though, don't get discouraged. There is a lot to learn here on this web site and some great people to learn it from!

Good idea, but, yeah you knew a but was coming.... the image is on the small side which isn't helping you, and your light and dark contrasts are too extreme. The wine and the bottle are so dark and the lamp is so white and bright. It makes it hard to find a happy medium in the photo. Your concept is good and the staging is nice though. Keep trying and better luck next time.

This image is just too small to be able to properly judge or rate. What I can see looks blurry, but I can't really tell. Make use of the tutorial on how to prepare an image for DPC, it has helped me get my images ready for contests, and should assist you too. Keep trying as the colors in this image are excellent!
