Good photo. But doesn't stands out in the challenge compare to other entries. IMO, it may be because composition. Also, there is not enough details on the ground.

I like the gradient colors in the BG. So many color tone. But at the same time I think tree is little blur. Also, Too tight crop. I would have liked to see some more surroundings.

Nice abstract here. I don't think border suits welll for this kind of abstracts. Some voters may score it low due to DNMC. But I like the abstract aspect of it.

Why so small? If you are new user, check out a DPC tutorial on how to resize yout picture. Even though there are many trees, the broken one still stand out. So, I would say it's still meets the challenge. I would have scored higher if it had enough pixels.

Excellent capture of light, Nice POV. White clouds would have made this very good picture, "a perfect" photo. Still one of my top score. Good Luck.
