At first I was shocked by this comment, but then I put my glasses back on. Now I agree. |

CE0064-nccby bvyComment: Foreground nephew doing the butter-wouldn't-melt face, background bloke doing the supermodel pout. Can't ask more than that from the talent.
I swear have seen these guys before somewhere, just hanging around. |

metasnapshotby bvyComment: I simply love this anti-photography photograph. It's a photograph about a photograph which is itself about the nature of the photograph. It's a Droste effect for grown ups. It's my top pick in the challenge. 10 and thank you. |

greenby mitalapoComment: Outstandingly charming photograph. Greatest among its many charms is its combination of conceptual assurance with candour. You've breathed softly on a moment and made a delight. Thank you.

festina lente - make haste slowlyby mariucaComment: Goodness me, a snapshot that transcends the glass ceiling! It's a real photograph. I mean that, in case you doubt, as a very big compliment. Anyone can make a photograph out of 'photography' but very few can make a photograph out of a single heartbeat. Thank you. |

from sea to shining seaby jmritzComment: This genre of low-fidelity photographs (my favourite genre) is so difficult to execute well. This picture is a fabulous lesson in the difference between the genuine article - which this is - and the faux stuff. Many will dismiss it without thought and thus deny themselves the opportunity to marvel at the beautiful composition, so elegantly apt, and the masterful ordering of the graphic blocks from which the picture is built. Will fail as well to grasp that the eloquence of the picture derives from what is withheld. Other than the title of course, because that's heartbreakingly meaningful. Thank you. |

the red matby daisydavidComment: This is a lot more interesting than first glance promised. Such a beautiful offhand orchestration of shapes, tone and colour. Most of us wouldn't even see this; it's a lesson to us in seeing. A photograph that repays a longer look. Several, in fact. Thank you. |

Unexpectedby bob350Comment: Could not fail to acknowledge this, because it's so interesting. I think you've photographed a bit of wall art? But if that's what you've done you've given it wings. If that's not what you did at all, I don't care and I still thank you. |

Eye Witnessby PaulComment: Interesting what a difference a happy chance (you may call it a decisive moment, and I won't argue) makes. If even a single face in the background were not turned uniformly away, the glass would crack and the picture would be flawed. Masterfully understated photograph with genuine substance. Thank you. |
