From the Heartby MontereykiddoComment: I loved the photograph & also your "Photographer's Comments" (above). Given his expression and degree of dampness, how's "Old Glue Eyes" for a stage name? No? Well, it was a very nice effort from both photographer & model anyway! |

Ninety And Cookin'by lshlesComment: Thanks for posting the additional tribute to your Dad, Larry. He's terrific & so is your salute to him. Please tell him howdy & best wishes from Down Under. Wish I could hear him play. |

Trial of strength :)by letuananhComment: It's a really wonderful photograph. If DPC ever has a competition for the best image to NOT meet the challenge, you will win the blue ribbon with this stunning work. Thanks for entering it & delighting us all! |

One Dayby jenesisComment: Terrific. There are occasions when only a symmetrical composition will reveal the drama in a subject & this is sure one of them. You have created a very powerful image here; you've made the bridge seem both compelling & forbidding at the same time. If Stephen King saw this photograph he'd probably want to write some bizarre story about a bridge you can cross over but can never come back. Maybe I'll write it myself. Will you sell the literary rights to your image? ;-) |

My heaven shotby puzzledComment: I don't think it's corny. A magnificent sky is like a box of chocolates. We take a just couple & say 'Well that's enough, now!' But pretty soon we see that box again, and we can't resist trying just another one. Same with sunrises & sunsets. Hard to resist because they're so nice. And they're not really bad for us, if we just limit ourselves to special occasions. Just don't you go getting hooked on them, Amy!
I like this one, anyway. I have a painting I that love (well, it's a print really) that has this same slightly impressionist feel, without actually being impressionist. |

Eastern Twilightby aznymComment: I like it. Not perfect; the obscured face of the second musician and the unfortunately placed dangling stringy thing that hangs off the first guy's bow each detract a bit from the image. But it is a convincing candid live music photograph. 7 |

Moonlight Serenadeby DanielCzajaComment: A simple but very thoughtful composition that doesn't overlook an important element of a live music image; audience appreciation. Well conceived and executed. 8 |

Omaha Bluesby whatdewucComment: Nice composition. I like the fact that he's not quite a silhouette. Makes it more interesting. 7 |
