He's wearing a Beretby pawdrixComment: OK, that settles it. I am getting a beret. I'd always thought that every chapeau has its moment; its particular 'age':
In infancy, the bonnet
In adolescence, the sports helmet
In extended adolescence, the baseball cap
In respectable maturity, the fedora
In disreputable maturity, the beret
I had been swanning about in a fedora, waiting for my beret moment to arrive.
Alas, as is increasingly the case with so many things in life, I appear to be past it.

Riding Off......by GermaineComment: A fantastic month, G. This one actually looks more like Colleen's work than yours, but as I'm a fan of you both, I'm happy either way. |

The Nightmare fenceby Ecce_SignumComment: Well, by now you know what I'm going to say, so I don't need to say it. (hic!)
Thanks for a month full of most excellent surprises, Andi. |

Country Roadby trevytrevComment: Originally posted by tph1: This was a fun month, wasn't it? Some of the best photos were ones with no focal point, like this one. Go figure. Nice work, Trev. I will look for more of your stuff. Tom |
Yep, I agree. I think it's because they exist somewhere in the never-never land, between abstract and not quite. I love looking at them more than once because they change with the moment.
Thanks for all the images and the comments, Trevor.

Transcendence by luvmyaussieComment: Originally posted by AJHopp: What would you like to know? :o) |
Innocent, eh? Yeah, that's what they all say. Listen, Hopp ... we can do this the hard way, or the easy way. We know you made this photograph, with these amazing bronzy tones! It's got your fingerprints all over it. So you might as well make it easy on yourself and come clean. How'd you get that transcendent toning? |

Oh God, this photograph is just getting better and better as it is itself aging! I am thrilled that so many have been moved to think and write with such feeling about this extraordinary photograph. |

Abstract Abstractionistby pawdrixComment: Beret? Is he wearing a beret? I hope so. I have about 50 hats (honestly) and not one beret. I was waiting to get old enough ... maybe I have waited too long?
Very cool shot of a shot. I love those cars! Message edited by author 2009-01-30 21:00:40. |

strollby ErinMComment: I had (still have) the impression that he is relatively still and the scene is revolving about him. |
