I was thinking about Ecce Signum's hip shot a couple of days ago, . (BTW, Ecce, what were you shooting that time???) This is by no means as cool an abstract as his, but it was shot without looking through the viewfinder, and I was randomly squeezing the LB. Some ideas are better than other ideas. 8)

Well, I like it. I think the b&w works very well, and I like the fact that the driver is looking to the left toward the background. That sends my attention back there toward the light and nice bokeh.

Germaine, do you find you can often compose really well without looking through the viewfinder? I think it was my month of pinholes that seems to have improved my compositional skills.

Ah, my pic, Deb was alsmot right, its a road sign and as I tripped the shutter I swung round, the bit on the left is the front of a car.

Back to your shot, I like it, a great candid and I wonder what the rider is looking at?

I think this "randomness" worked out very well here. I also think this is an excellent shot for the end of the month's challenge - heading off, but not leaving - just seeking the next adventure, next good place to stop for awhile.

A fantastic month, G. This one actually looks more like Colleen's work than yours, but as I'm a fan of you both, I'm happy either way.
