Bojanglesby magenmarieComment: This is actually a very fine idea. We all know what a cat looks like, so you have instead chosen to show something about the cat. Bojangles casts a jaundiced eye over his domain (Is it Mr Bojangles? Or is it Ms?). The inescapable conclusion is that in this place, The Big Bo rules! If he had a little thought bubble above his head, it would doubtless quote Soiuth Park's Cartman ... "Respect Mah Authoritah!" My only 10. |

Le fils d'une pommeby oscarthepigComment: Well, I give you a 10 just because I like Magritte too, and your picture is a very fine tribute. And because I also wear a hat.
I think this will score very high, but in spite of that I do like it very much.
So thanks for providing the most (almost the only) entertaining entry, for which I also award DPC's most dubious distinction; the Order of the Thumb:

by aznymComment: Vexillology.
There is a secret branch of photography that involves finding the hidden flags of imaginary nations. This one is clearly Islamic (because of the green, and the Arabic script cunningly disguised as shadows).
It would make a lovely flag. The brown and the green go well together. Don't they? (I am a little bit colour blind) |

Since Thenby RebeccaComment: Delicious. Bit sticky (could be the hairspray), but fine nonetheless. |

What?by gsalComment: Brilliant. And masterful 'seam' too; it's there but not there. Remarkable, given that the vertical perspective changes just a little bit.
You must be a teacher, Gunnar? Taking photographs at a school is otherwise problematic these days. |
