TreeAndRopeby Covert_OddityComment: All four of your uploads to the Film thread are very nice photographs, and I like this one best, but I always love some offhand streaks and scrapes. What camera/film/etc? You get very lovely tones, especially on The Bench and Leafy Park. Message edited by author 2011-02-09 12:39:36. |

Untitled VD1 #01by bspurgeonComment: Who told you it was a snapshot? Who told you there was anything wrong with snapshots? The world needs a lot more 'snapshots' and some merciful release from the other.
I'm rather impressed, too. And the title is sublime. |

Lecheroby pointandshootComment: I could not bring myself to look at this infantile challenge, let alone vote. Thus I missed this image which, based on most of the first page of results, would have come as a blessed relief. The title alone would have been the pause that refreshed. Please accept a post-dated 10. |

The Wayby zeuszenComment: Well, I know it's you Z, because I saw and admired it elsewhere. But I'd almost certainly have known anyway; it would have been a choice of just two people. It's my clear top pick in the challenge because it's beautiful, deceptively simple, and I looked at it for longest and never got bored. Thank you. |

ghost danceby posthumousComment: First I though you should've cropped off the bottom part, then I thought, "What the Hell do I know; it's your picture." On reflection, I like it very much, just as it is. The dark void makes the person's strange body position all the more improbable and thus more wonderful. Thank you. |

janiceby tnunComment: Poor Janice. I'll bet she feels just like Alice. I love the colours, tones and voluptuous shapes. Top three for me. Thank you. |

Like Humans Doby instepsComment: A giant faux-moon, a humanoid perfectly intersected by an urban skyline, a tortured tree and a massive, crushing crucifix. And on top of all that a marvelous title to tease all the parts into a coherent plait. I could easily be reading far more into this than you may have intended, but I suspect not. I just love it. Top three for me. Thank you. |
