Crab Clawby aznymComment: Lovely gritty crusty crustacean. It's remarkably beautiful, ain't it? The marks are just wonderful. On my 2010 imaginary wall. Thank you. |

Salk I Kahn by LevTComment: I'm looking at the ribbons winners and finding good photographs from old friends (you and Bear)! What a nice surprise. I must look again sometime. Congratulations Lev. It's a very fine tribute to what must be a thrilling structure. |

Blair Witch Projectby bspurgeonComment: Oh! I gave it a 7 at first, then knocked it back a notch when I did my next pass. And you know what I said as I did it? I said, "I reckon this is someone trying to look like Ben!" So I was both smart and stupid simultaneously. What a putz I am, sometimes. |

Tightrope walkerby herfotomanComment: Excellent! I have several possible stories for this, all of 'em fun. Your clever double entendre is the best one. Thank you. |

No, you putz. |
Well, I wouldn't go that far, maybe a very nice putz! She is a wonderful person who usually doesn't like blur so I don't hold it against her, at least not often! I will say that this style of imagery is best appreciated by those who also create similar images. There is a difficulty, and delicacy, to these images that is often under appreciated. Although it comes natural to the lucky few, it is mostly an acquired taste. |
I thought it was a term of endearment. A sort of gentle gibe, not too harsh. It is where I come from.
ETA I looked it up. It has a meaning I never intended, so I apologise & withdraw it. Message edited by author 2011-02-14 13:45:08. |

Rhapsody - Elizabeth Taylorby loveComment: Wrote a longer comment on this and now I've somehow lost it in looking back over my favourite entries before voting ends. You almost ended up with just a full stop for a comment! It's a very convincing 'classical' photograph in style, and very well done too. Beautiful. Thank you. |
