Bob's Fine Jewelryby strangeghostComment: Very unique approach with the color circles. How'd you do that? Looks like bokah but I know it isn't. Is it the background itself? Hmmm... Af for the actual jewelry image, it's ok. The top of the stone and gold band area are lit ok, maybe a bit hot, while the black ring blends into the background a little too much. If you had lined the ring part up with one of the color circles it might have been more identifiable. Anyway, good luck on the challenge. |

Paper running from Scissors trips over Rockby NinjaMomComment: I'm glad I wasn't the only one to take a creative poke at this! ;^) Very clever...it's fun getting the kids involved, although I have to say they giggled at mine, and my wife thinks I'm losing it. He-he.
Rubber Ducks, Rock-Paper-Scissors...what's next?
Keep having fun! |

Southwesternby vtruanComment: I love this piece of jewelry and think the composition of the photo is very good. Lighting is a bit one-sided but works ok here. The big negative I have is the color choice of the text...it's hard to read parts of it against the light colored background. Overall, very nice. Good luck in the challenge. |

Sapphires and Diamondsby hughletherenComment: Very nice. Slick use of the word 'Antique' as a cover for the few nicks and dings. ;^) You did a good job by rotating the image. The lighting is right on. Good job. Hope this does well for you in the challenge. |

Simply elegantby PascalComment: Ok...you've got a little sex appeal going on. The image is well composed for what it is. I'm not sure there is enough emphasis on the jewelry...only the final results will tell for sure. Good luck. |

Starflower Necklace of Beadsby photomComment: Nice job of lighting and use of background to tie the colors in with the jewelry item. I think the light could have been difused just a little more to tone down some of the hard glare coming from some faces of the stones. JMO. Overall, well done. Good luck in the challenge. |

The Groom's Kitby WobbleComment: At first I was having a hard time figuring this out - couldn't get a size context. The cufflinks looked like box lids, and at first I thought the ring was some type of container. Maybe I need to take a break! ;^) Now that I've figured it out...I really like your choice of background materials. The lighting is right on, as is the focus. This should do well. Good luck. |
