Looks to me like you got the better spot. ;^) If a photog setup to the right of the boat, the boat is in shadows on that side.

You've done a nice job selecting a bg to get a good bokeh result. DOF used works out just right. Your title works as well with the bokeh giving the shot a dreamy kind of feel (with the subjects expression also of course). Good luck in the challenge.

This is very cute. A little soft overall I think. It would work very well if the face (to include nose and eyes especially) were sharply focused.

Nice title. The image is a little soft for my liking. The color is good and you have some nice bokeh going on in the bg. The main subject seems a bit underexposed. Best of luck to you in the challenge.
