Obliviousby dizneewenchComment: Don't you have to be the one that actually breaks the mirror to have bad luck? :^) The guy walking is a ways off yet. I think more impact would be had to have staged him a bit closer like his next step or two was going to make him run into the mirror and ladder.
As for the image, the B/W theme is good. The tonal range is flat. I think some work on contrast and levels may help this image some. JMO of course.
Good luck in the challenge. |

Math Final Exam...by ApeeComment: I'm trying to figure out what significance the pencil has. The eraser area looks funny and is distracting with the blob over the metal and below the eraser. |

Make A Wishby SammieComment: Oooohhh...a water shot! ;^) What I want to know is how did you turn around fast enough to get this shot after tossing that coin over your shoulder? He-he. This is a nice idea. Not sure that the wide angle is helping any here. What I mean is, the subject may have more impact if it was brought in closer and do some major cropping of the surrounding rocks. JMO of course.
Good luck in the challenge. |

Dark Voodoo: A Broken Heartby cutlassdude70Comment: Yikes! Hope you never get angry with me!!! ;^) Fun concept and well executed. Well positioned composition. DOF is right on for this image and does a nice job of bleeding out the bg.
Smile and keep having fun! ;^) |

NEVER Play Alone!by skasubaComment: Ahhh. Took me a sec to see the "ghostly" fingers. Nice touch! Haven't seen one of these in a while. Nice choice of theme for your challenge entry. Overall the image works just fine. Only nit for me is the top left corner is distracting. Good luck. |

Pie In The Skyby LERtasticComment: I'm not really sure where you are trying to go with your message in this image. The silhouette works ok here - the post being sat on is a little distracting as are the lamp posts. Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

Double, double toil and trouble...by RKTComment: Great choice of tone! The quilt on the wall adds a nice dimension to this as does the umbrella. Wonderful exposure for the lighting used. Good luck in the challenge. |

ROCK ON!by kgearyComment: Just for the record. I didn't vote on this, or any image, in the Bokeh II challenge.
To clear up any misquotes used in user profiles ( "...told me that they scored my image low because the hands of the subject were cut off."), what was said exactly is this:

... There is a picture of a deer that came in (71st I think?) - that the bg is almost completely blurred a solid color...no nothing...71st? Over my image? ...
... When a completely blurred, nearly solid color bg gets 71st in a bokeh challenge and my entry gets 201st....I just can't possibly be happy with the voters.

It appears that some people prefer a deer as the subject to 1 1/2 hands? ;^)

Back to the Futureby glodaComment: Had me fooled as to it being a toy car. I was curious how you accomplished this image. Very creative. I didn't get the connection to the time travel bit (sorry). A DeLorean would be cool!!!
Smile and keep having fun! ;^)
