This is cute...and clever! ;^) Interesting how the focal point, being inside the can on the peas, has caused the front edge of the can to be blurred yet text farther down is readable. Doubt that was part of the consideration during setup, but it's a nice side effect. Smile and keep having fun!

Nice use of contrast by selecting various items to include in your image that make it stand out. Almost like a frame within a frame. Well done! Good luck in the challenge.

This has a rich, earthy feel to it. Perfect for the subject. It's refreshing to see a well captured image of this simple subject in a manner that's not all cutesy and clever (some of those are fine also I probably should add...). I sincerely hope this does well for you. Good luck.

Clean, crisp, simple...this has stock image written all over it. I hope after the challenge you get it out there and make a few bucks on it! ;^) Seriously, I like the way you've laid this out, the lighting is perfect, and the image is well focused and sharp thruout. Well done!

This is quite clever. ;^) I like the aperture selection as the DOF works very well here. Placement of your subjects is good and including an odd number helps. Only downside for me is the first two pea pods aren't as well focused as the one on the far right. Best of luck to you in the challenge.

This made me laugh. I'm sure you're getting a boat load of comments on this one. Normally I wouldn't vote very high for an image that includes a toilet bowl, but you've done this quite discretely, if that's possible. ;^) On a serious note, I like the lines and the way you've put this together as an image. The strongest point in this is the lighting. It appears that you've used natural light from a window and it's right on the money, although you'll probably have a couple of "too dark" comments...

Clever, cute, and well done - all rolled up in one. Good luck in the challenge.

This is one of my top picks for this challenge. I love the simplicity of it and the near high-key feel to it. Nice choice in composition, the way you decided to include the amount of bowl rim, etc... Good luck in the challenge.

Almost abstract in a way...like the texture and details. Only minor complaint is there is a little glare from lighting in some of the high points. Overall, nicely done! The strong diagonals work very well. Good luck in the challenge.

Hah! It looks like an apple!!! ;^) I like your concept. I'm thinking that your title isn't quite right for the shot. JMO of course, but with the pea looking that large it takes away from being lonely. A minimalisism type shot (more negative space) may have done better with your chosen theme.
