Scattered Pine seedsby alpharichComment: This is one of those images you toss out in the forums to ask for feedback on now that the challenge is over. Only 2 comments and not much in the way of direction (likes/dislikes, etc...).
FWIW, I didn't vote this challenge - just commented on a handful that caught my attention. ;^) |

Break-outby RUEDISCHMUTZComment: Good subject, harsh lighting. If you could have waited a little longer (provided you weren't out in the morning - then make it earlier), the lighting on this wouldn't have been quite so strong. May consider taking something to add a little fill light when out shooting also like a piece of white paper or aluminum foil to fill in the shadows a little. JMO of course. Good luck in the challenge. |

The Seed of New Lifeby manic35Comment: Nice tone, good message. I think for some you're going to run into monitor calibration issues ("too dark", etc...). Only minor glitch for me is I think you should have gone a tad deeper on DOF. Most of the egg, if not all, should be in focus IMO. Good luck in the challenge. |

Cardamom. Cooking timeby olbolComment: This is "ok". I think the subject material you're working with has a little bit more potential with some lighting that is more dramatic. Nice tones and textures to look at here. Good luck in the challenge. |

Next Years Weedsby JunieMoonComment: Isn't that the truth! ;^) Nice composition. Really like the bokeh. Looks a bit oversharpened from where I sit. Best of luck in the challenge. |

Red Endby GiorgioComment: This is nice. The person lends a hand to the "lines" here and helps to draw the viewer into the photo. The person is actually the first place my eyes want to rest - then move to the end. Nicely done. Oh ya, the technicals are fine too. ;^) |

into the blackby robaComment: Classic use of lines here to lead the viewer. I wonder if this would have had more impact with a little more rail? The "black" entrance is competing for dominance here. Overall, nicely done. Good luck. |

( Landing Complete )by ApeeComment: Not sure what it is, nor does it matter...you've done a nice job of using lines to "Lead" the viewer into this image and having some focal point at the destination. I'm just observing/commenting this challenge. Good luck! ;^) |
