Study In Beigeby JunieMoonComment: Great detail and color, but where is the wind? Oops, wait. I do see some blur in the middle left grass (pod?). May not be evident enough for people to grasp quickly. JMO of course. Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

CheckMateby RefreshComment: Looks like there are a handful of chess players at DPChallenge. :D |

Windy Dayby NefirComment: I like the foreground blur on the left. Helps to take that out of the viewers way and lead to the person. The brick lines also help out in that regard quite nicely. You've done a nice job indicating wind and meeting the challenge theme. B/W works well here, but I think the range is a bit short when it comes to blacks (could be deeper - or it may be this cruddy monitor). Well done overall. Good luck in the challenge. |

Woah!!!by RompyComment: Nice B/W photo that meets the challenge quite well. The fun is infectious (her smile). :D May be a little overexposed in the clouds (left center), but you can get away with that a little with this PP treatment. Good luck in the challenge. |

The Winds of Changeby gdob27Comment: The flag is well focused, and you have some other elements of interest to look at, which is good. The foreground item just creeping into the photo (bottom center) is distracting. The big distraction is that tilted horizon! :D Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

Super Dog to the Rescueby jbeazellComment: Yep. Ok. Go Super Dog. It's cute, but I'm not really buying into the wind theme of this photo. Sorry. The image also seems a bit dark, like the dog could be brightened up a little. Good luck. |

The North Wind Doth Blow (and we shall have snow)...by admart01Comment: Darn plastic fences anyway! :) Just kidding about the fence. You've done a nice job putting this composition together. Some strong lines working to add interest and the main pieces are well balanced in contributing to the story (corn stalks, sky, fence/barn). Feels gloomy, which is what you were going for. Nice PP work to enhance that. Just enough movement is some of the stalks to indicate a wind is indeed blowing. Overall, nicely done. Good luck in the challenge. |

Wind Glidersby shelw128Comment: Wonderful capture of wind (and energy). I can almost hear the noise that this group had to have been making. :) Looks like the technicals are in order. The way the seagulls span the photo lends nice balance to this. Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

blowing trees in infraredby ralphComment: You've certainly captured wind at work. That part is cool. Not really a big fan of the fake looking IR stuff. Putting that aside, the sky is quite grainy. The curved road line adds a nice element to this shot and the light pole front left also helps to direct the viewer. Good luck in the challenge. |
