Carloby ImagineerComment: This is a really fun portrait. Wonderful expression. Nice warm tones overall. The composition is nice as well. One minor "wish" is that the eyes were as sharply focused as the shoulder and the foremost hairlock on his forehead. They're not overly soft, just slightly behind the optimum focal plane. Nicely done! Good luck in the challenge. |

Shining Through by scalvertComment: Absolutely stunning! The lighting is fantastic, the details are sharp (haven't NI'd the skin to plastic). You can see the young adult in this young lady coming out. Boy are you going to have your hands full when she grows up with all those young men knocking at the door. :D My top pick. Good luck (doubt you'll need it) in the challenge. |

Breaking Throughby sibelingComment: I really like this, but I think you pushed the blue to a point past realistic. The orange and reds, ok, fine for this time of year. It's the blue on the branch in the water that seems too much for me. Otherwise, great eye to see this. Good luck in the challenge. |

Medievalby gocComment: This is a wonderful image to look at. The natural lines formed by the trees coming to a 'V' and the clouds loosely matching the shape all enhance this photo. Big downer for me is the processing done on the clouds. There seems to be a distinct line/area of clouds in the 'V' section that are burned in while the same color and pattern of clouds just to the left are in a more natural state. I wouldn't have messed with that sky. It would have been great left as is. Great eye to see this image shape up. Good luck in the challenge. |

Got No Gameby fotomann_foreverComment: Nice subject and fun to look at, but way too heavy-handed on the processing for my taste. Good luck in the challenge. |

~ Juliana ~by Blue MoonComment: Very pretty young lady. Nice job of blurring out the background to bring her fully into the front. To me it looks like her lips, nose, and eyes are a little unnatural, but hey, who knows, maybe she is that clean and smooth in real life. :D Good luck in the challenge. |

The Silhoutted Fishermanby albc28Comment: Nice idea, but I think for better impact the fisherman should be more isolate. He's too close to the shoreline the way this image is framed. |

Oak Leavesby banmornComment: Bokeh practice? :D Wonderful color in this, but you've lost a lot of detail in the leaves. Too much Neat Image perhaps (or some other noise reduction tool)? Good luck in the challenge. |

Castle on the Hudsonby brimacComment: Woah there! Easy on the saturation slider! :D Interesting place and quite the vivid colors I see. |

Photographing A 46 mph Sandstormby KenComment: Looks like Lake Michigan. You've certainly captured wind at work in this photo. The color tone selection works well to give it a harsh gritty feeling. Nicely done! Hope your gear was ok in that environment! Good luck in the challenge. |
