CURVESby ltlmschrisssComment: I really like this for it's simplicity. It's interesting to look at and takes the viewer for a journey. Well done. Good luck in the challenge. |

Landscape In Portrait 015.jpgby KrystleComment: Some wicked power lines to deal with there - eh? Clouds look pretty cool. Getting ready for the upcoming 'Landscape In Portrait' outtakes? :D |

Psychedelic Tunnel Visionby The EskimoComment: Dan. How did I miss this! Very cool shot. Love the lighting. It's interesting how different people can see such a variety of images in everyday objects. I have one of these sitting on my desk! :D Maybe next time, you know they'll have an Abstract Macro III soon enough. He-he. Take care! |

A Peace of Fallby WeefanComment: This one has to be looked at for a little while to really be appreciated. I hope that voters slow down enough for a good look, but with 600+ entries I wouldn't hold my breath. Wonderful color and a nice job of post-processing this to give it a warm, rich look. Good luck! |

Très Chic Meowby thegrandwazooComment: She really stands out with that dark background. Her face almost seems to have a grungy look to it. I know she has makeup on, but even her forehead and ears look grunged (is that a word? ). It's not a bad thing, in this case I think it works just fine. The foreground flowers add a nice touch, yet defocused enough to stay out of the visual way. Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

Mikeby rdesaiComment: Mike is cool. Great detail and character coming out in his portrait. I wish the bg was a little less discernable. Good luck in the challenge. |

Zachary Posingby ConnComment: I like the tone and feel of this overall. Jury's still out on the centered composition and the angle of his face. It's unique as a portrait from most of the others in the challenge. On this monitor (not a good one) I'm losing some detail in the black of his shirt and pants. Sorry about riding the fence on this one...it's "ok", not loving it, nor really disliking it. :D Good luck in the challenge. |

The Gladie Cabinby DianaComment: Cades Cove? Looks familiar, but I haven't been there in 20 years. :D I like the composition and the subject is fine. Time of day for taking this makes it difficult to add any drama to the scene. The light is harsh and shadows are limited. Some may like it that way, and I think it's fine overall, but it's not going to score high points from an artistic sense that many DPC voters have come to expect. Best of luck to you in the challenge. |
