Frankenmuth, Michiganby TwigComment: Hmmm. Nothing personal, but this doesn't seem that 'centered' to me, and the most interesting part of the photo is the top of the building which takes the viewer far from the center of the image. Also seems a bit underexposed - could be the weather, but appears a little dark. Good luck in the challenge. |

Marblesby ustiebitzComment: Ok. I'm jealous. Jealous in that I didn't think of this first! :D This is fun, creative, simple, clean...all good ingredients for a fine challenge entry. That spoon creates the perfect leading line right to the marbles and the fork tines bounce the viewer right back to the marbles if you dare stray.
Did I mention that I like this? :D Look to see you on the front page when the voting is over. Well done! |

Daddys Girlby ecameronComment: Great clarity and DOF on this portrait. I'm not getting the feel of this being especially centered. The lower hand, upward leaning arm, and her face, all create a diagonal that pulls the viewer from off-center left to the lower-right. A little more space horizontally, and less vertically is needed IMO. Those are just challenge technicalities I suppose. Wonderful image nonetheless and one that any parent would be pleased to have. Good luck in the challenge. |

Simplicityby DeniseBernadetteComment: Very nice job of bringing the focal plane into the exact spot required to pull this off. Simple, yet refreshing to look at. Good luck. |

Tree Reflectionsby GallatinComment: Yep. It's centered. :D Too bad you didn't have more interesting sky to work with. Are you shooting RAW files? If yes, try playing with the contrast sliders some - pull them all the way left/right 100% and see what happens with this. Just a thought. Good luck in the challenge. |

Flowerby CyMaNComment: Nice subject. A bit underexposed. Considering the challenge is centered composition it would have helped to bring more of this in focus. As is, the eye is drawn to the lower third of this photo to the area that is sharp. Good luck in the challenge. |
