Sensory Overloadby nards656Comment: Hmmm. Not sure why this didn't score a little higher. Maybe it was that the viewers couldn't engage with the subject, or didn't see any "Wow" in it?
Personally I like the balance of the composition and the DOF is on the mark for the challenge. White balance, focus, lighting, etc... are all fine as well. Maybe the white cup in between the two blue ones is too much? Throws off the symetry a little? Just a thought.
Smile and keep having fun! |

Bad Boyby timfythetooComment: I hate to say this, but the litter (?) on the floor really pulls the eye down and away from the primary subject. I like your idea and the photo overall is fine. Good luck in the challenge. |

OK.....Which One Was It?by senor_kasperComment: Ok. This has to be someone with a pile of kids - AND - creative. Hmmm... Well, whoever put this together, it's cute and well done. Only nit is the left "arm" being cut off. Good luck. |

Laughing Stock...Bad Hair Day :(by jeroweComment: Hooray! ...and Thank You! With a minute bit of thought the viewer can figure out what this is without the title, perhaps even outside the context of this challenge. Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

Happy with Anticipationby CharleneComment: This is cute. It would have worked a little better technically, if you move the subjects away from the background more to allow the DOF to blur it out. Some minor adjustments to this using curves or even a histogram adj would add some zing to this. All JMO of course. Good luck in the challenge. |

Waitress With A Bad Hair Dayby elizadebComment: This is a very cool photo. Clean, simple, focused (mostly). Some issues I think this will run into is the subject is human in form, and was intentionally made (manufactured) that way. Items such as clothes pins, or lamps (two examples of many), when positioned properly do a better job of meeting what this challenge is about IMO. Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

United against adversityby UrfaKComment: I have to say this image has made me stop, think, and look deeper than many have for this challenge. It's one of those photos that if seen outside the context of this challenge I might stop and ponder as well. Looking, considering, pondering...none of that is helping me to see where the 'Personification' lies within. Sorry. I love the texture and detail in this. The positioning of the subject within the frame makes for a compelling composition.
FWIW - I'd keep this location in mind for other subjects as well. Perhaps something a bit more "earthy"? This corner makes a great backdrop!
Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

Dance when nobody else will !!by emily212Comment: Cute idea, however, what would this image say without the title? I'm not totally against a clever title, but the viewer/voter should be able to get some sense of the photo without it is all I'm trying to say. As for the technical merits of this image from what I can see (image is a little on the small side) it looks to be exposed very well and there is good detail/focus on the trees. Good luck to you in the challenge. |
