There are people on this website that do not have cameras, but just like looking at pictures. You and I as photography enthusiasts readily know the camera on the left is "old." But would those without a background know this? Really, the Canon doesn't show any aging. It "looks" new.

I like that you didn't choose to show "age" by relativity (comparing it to or setting it along side of something newer).

Composition is one of my hardest things to conceive. I like the composition of the picture. Question though, what is "old" in this picture?

I don't think anyone would argue with you that these are old cars. But they are in mint condition. The rusted out ones (by other photographers) is a better demonstration of "old."
That aside, you took a GREAT picture here.

An older subject (person) would have been better, but a great shot of the eye.

You managed to combine age and comedy. I don't know why, but the moment I saw this picture I laughed. There is just something wonderfully humorous about this.

If I had to wait in like at the grocery store for a clerk to use one of these in this fast-paced world, I would go crazy!
Not only is the a great shot, but the lighting really helps drive home the point.

I actually took several train pictures to submit myself. I leveled it down to just two pictures. Those were also eliminated when I decided that I didn't do the subject justice. Your train is much older. You framed it wonderfully. I think "color" may have actually enhanced this picture.

After coming back to this site twice and spending more than 30 minutes reviewing all pictures I had giving a first vote of "8", I've decided to pick this one as "best" b/w.
