Yup, I knew this was out of focus when I submitted it, but I only had an hour in the "studio" and a couple hours to work with what I got. I'm still getting used to the new camera, so, well, can only go up from here :)

Rules?! Personally I score for: skill, creativity, effort, fitting the Challenge, and grab-you appeal. This "bright idea" fits hugely in all categories. But what it really comes down to is that we are here to share and learn photography, and make great photos! Not to learn how to follow rules! Thank you so much Shannon for sharing!! and daring to skirt the boundries!
The reason this fits in the category of "Surreal" to me is that one, it could not be real, and two it makes you scratch your head.
This was my only 10.
Pleased that I knew how you did this, but bummed I did'nt try to enter something. You Challenge this newbee to reach higher! :)

Really beautiful! I don't tend to warm up to child photos like most folks, but this goes beyond cute. Nice contrast, tones, depth of field, composition. The light in upper left and red line (curtain) over head are a little distracting. Perhaps a tighter crop there, and would like to see a little more to the babie's hand below. Lovely detail in face and head band.
