In the Beginning, When We Were Youngerby danceswithadreamComment: This is such a great catch of expressions, and essence, lighting, contrast, and textures. Unfortunatley it badly needs better focus and to be free rotated. It's tilted too much to be appropriate and not enough for an intentional skew. I like it anyways :) |

… there was rotary.by eschmuttComment: Excellent idea and subject. The lighting is poor, I would like to see more of the mouthpiece form inside and out. Also the wrinkles in the planket are very distracting. For studio set-ups you may wish to invest in a sheet of velvet, felt and/or paperboard of black, white, and /or neutral. Velvet is best because it absorbs light that can cause distracting reflections and can give you a totally blank background. Hope that helps, good luck on future studio shots :) |

See_throughby atxcrisComment: Cool setup. But out of focus and not related to the challenge as far as I can see. Well, it's 'the beginning' of great shot...:) |

Barren Hopeby BradComment: Nice shot. How do you get this soft effect? Is that a filter used during shooting or applied with a program? |

the clouds came first...by kerjanComment: Lovely! I see the glory at the bottom, but the core does not look like an airplane profile. Where did you take this from? Just standing on a hill above a cloudbank? I have a shot taken from a paraglider in Big Sur Ca. I should post it. Pumping up the contrast and saturation would bring out the color in the halo, which I would love to see and in higher resolution! I think that would improove this shot over all too. Still high score in my book :) |

Big Bangby LevTComment: Cool! I love fiber optic stuff. Nice idea to put it on a red surface to off-set the blue. Creative idea! |
