Lower Fallsby goinskiingComment: Wonderful perspective...is a little overexposed as we lose the terrain on the hill on the left (some bleaching occurring). Also the focus is not where it needs to be for DPCers to vote this image really high. If you can get there again and maybe use a tripod I would definately try again. depending on the positioning, if there was a time of day where the sunlight can hit the falls, then wow. Great potential here as again the perspective is really great. Good Luck. 5. |

In the Stableby sfmorrisComment: Very cute image. The love flows nicely from the horse to the boy to the kittens. The lighting is a little flat, may have tried to adjust the curves and get a little more constrast. Good Luck. 5. |

Summer Lovinby emily212Comment: Nice composition. Your foucs is off, I would have tried to zone in on the woman's face, it appears to be on the grass in the foreground. A little more contrast and shadows could have punched up the image a bit. Also may pull back a bit to try and give a little more emphasis on there isolation and closeness of enjoying the summer day together. Good Luck. 5. |

Textures of Alaskaby alanfreedComment: Not sure I like I like the enhanced blues. Being Alaska, most people think of the ice and glaciers. The foreground can be seen anyway and although your goal (guessing) was probably to show the contrasting landscape, it doesn't work for me...If possible, a perspective lower with just the ice and include some sky may have helped. Good Luck. 5. |

Red Foxby IvoryComment: Nicely processed and good job ensuring that the white fur is not overly bleached like some of the other animal shots in this challenge. WIth animal shots, a lot of people get drawn to the eyes. Your focus appears to focused on the nose and mouth and would have really preferred the focus to be crisp on the eyes which are a little soft. Good Luck. 5. |

first lightby whiterookComment: Image is not focused and comes across a little grainy. The boat smack dab in the middle of the image sucks you right in and takes away from the result. Need to use rule of thirds. Also, with the title, I may have gone righ down to the dock and included more sky with the rising sun still incorporationg the dock and boat in the left third of the image. Good Luck. 3. |

Cabinby jaysonmcComment: Nice composition...Processing is a little overdone and turns the image into almost painting (maybe that is what you were going for). I think it takes away from the result. Nonetheless, not a bad entry. Good Luck. 6. |

Kona Sunsetby BalkoComment: NIce offset of the setting sun. The helicopter hurts the image and its peacefulness. Focus could be a lot tighter Good Luck. 4. |

Human Lensby breadfan35Comment: Very creative and well executed. My only negative which is silly is the lines in the eye on the right, beyond your control, yes, but distracting. Still the reflection and use of the lens for the pupil is well done. Good Luck. 6. |

shell by the shoreby alliebealComment: Image appears grainy and I do not like all the bubbles (which I realize is beyond your control). Focus needs to be a lot tighter here to score well. Sorry. Good Luck. 3. |
